Android tablet

WalletPlus for Android

For businesses with an Android tablet at the counter. Prints to receipt printers over Bluetooth, network or USB, and on Sunmi tablets with a built-in printer.

Requires Android 7 or later

  1. Open the link on the tabletGo to download.walletplus.dk in the tablet's browser and tap the button.
  2. Allow the installationIf Android asks whether the browser may install apps, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, and go back.
  3. Install and log inTap Install, open WalletPlus Admin, and log in with your WalletPlus login.

Windows PC

WalletPlus for Windows

For businesses with a PC at the counter instead of a tablet. Prints to network printers without a driver and to USB printers through the Windows printer driver, with no print dialog.

Requires Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit

Download for Windows
  1. Run the installerOpen the WalletPlusAdmin-Setup file once it has downloaded.
  2. If Windows shows a warningIf it says Windows protected your PC, click More info and then Run anyway. Windows warns about programs it does not recognise yet.
  3. Log in and choose a printerLog in with your WalletPlus login. The first time, the printer setup opens by itself.

How to set up your equipment

From unpacking the box to the first receipt coming out of the printer. If you got the equipment from us, the app is often installed already, and then you skip that step.

Android tablet

Tablet and receipt printer

For Android tablets and Sunmi terminals with a receipt printer on the network, Bluetooth or USB.

  1. Power and paper

    Plug in the tablet and the receipt printer. Put the paper roll in the printer, close the lid, and switch it on.

  2. Connect to the internet

    Connect the tablet to your business's Wi-Fi. If you use a network printer, it must be plugged into the same router or be on the same Wi-Fi as the tablet.

  3. Install the app Skip if already installed

    If WalletPlus Admin is already on the tablet, go on to the next step. Otherwise follow the three steps on the Android card at the top of the page.

  4. Log in

    Open WalletPlus Admin and log in with the email and password you created from our welcome email (the Opret din konto button). If you have forgotten the password, tap Glemt adgangskode?. After logging in you land on Takeaway, where the orders come in.

  5. Add the receipt printer

    Go to Indstillinger → Printer and tap Tilføj ny printer. Tap Søg efter printere and pick your printer from the list. If it does not show up, choose the type yourself:

    • Network (cable or Wi-Fi): choose Epson Netværk or Star Netværk and enter the printer's IP address.
    • Bluetooth: choose Bluetooth → Scan for nye Bluetooth-printere → Par, then pick the printer under Parrede printere. If Android asks for access to nearby devices, tap Allow.
    • USB cable: plug in the cable, tap Allow when Android asks, and tick Use by default for this USB device.
    • Sunmi with a built-in printer: the printer is found automatically and is called Sunmi (indbygget). There is nothing to set up.

    Don't know the printer's IP address? Switch the printer off, hold down the FEED button, and switch it on again. It then prints a status slip with the address.

  6. Test print and save

    Tap Send test print. If the receipt comes out, tap Gem printer. The first printer you add becomes Primær, and that is the one that prints kitchen tickets and customer receipts.

    More printers, for example one for the bar? Add the next one the same way, tap ⋮ → Kategorier on the printer, and choose the items it should print. An extra printer only prints the categories you have chosen.

  7. Turn up the sound

    The new-order sound follows the tablet's media volume, so turn it all the way up. Check that the speaker icon at the top of WalletPlus is on. Under Takeaway → Indstillinger → Notifikationslyd you can choose a sound and tap Afspil to try it.

  8. Ready for the first order

    A new order beeps until it is accepted. Tap Godkend and the kitchen ticket prints. If you turn on Auto at the top of Takeaway, orders are accepted and printed automatically. Leave the tablet on the charger with the app open. The screen stays on as long as the app is open.

Windows PC

PC and receipt printer

For a PC with Windows 10 or 11 and a receipt printer on the network or USB.

  1. Connect the printer

    Plug in the printer, load paper, and switch it on.

    • Network printer: plug it into the same router as the PC. It does not need a driver.
    • USB printer: install the printer's Windows driver from the manufacturer's website, and check that the printer is listed under Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.

  2. Install the app Skip if already installed

    Download the app with the button on the Windows card at the top of the page and run the installer. If it asks who the app should be installed for, choose Only for me. Afterwards WalletPlus Admin is on the desktop and in the Start menu.

  3. Log in

    Open WalletPlus Admin and log in with the email and password you created from our welcome email. The app shows WalletPlus in its own window.

  4. Choose the printer

    The first time, the printer setup opens by itself. Otherwise you find it in the menu Printer → Vælg printer….

    • Network printer: click Søg på netværket and then Tilføj next to the printer. Or click Tilføj netværksprinter, enter the IP address, and click Test forbindelse.
    • USB printer: click Tilføj Windows-printer and choose the printer from the list.
    • Set Papir to match your roll, 80 mm or 58 mm, and click Gem printer.

  5. Test print

    Click Testprint. If the receipt comes out cleanly with æ, ø and å, the printer is set up correctly. The first printer becomes Standard. If you have more printers, Hvilken bon ud hvor lets you send kitchen tickets, customer receipts and the end-of-day report to different printers.

  6. Sound and window

    Turn up the PC's sound and check that the speaker icon at the top of WalletPlus is on. Keep the window open. If you close it, the app closes, and there is no sound for new orders.

    Want the app to start with the PC? Press the Windows key and R, type shell:startup, and copy the WalletPlus Admin shortcut into the folder that opens.

Troubleshooting

The printer does not print

Check that the printer is on, has paper, and that the lid is closed. Tap Test under Indstillinger → Printer on the tablet, or Testprint under Printer → Vælg printer… on the PC. On the tablet, Fejlfind printer at the top of the printer page can check the connection for you.

A network printer must be on the same network as the tablet or PC. If it changes IP address when the router restarts, give it a fixed address in the router.

There is no sound for new orders

Turn up the media volume on the tablet or the sound on the PC, and check that the speaker icon at the top of WalletPlus is on. Try the sound under Takeaway → Indstillinger → Notifikationslyd → Afspil. On the PC, the WalletPlus window must be open.

It says Ingen internetforbindelse (no internet connection)

Then new orders cannot come in. Check the Wi-Fi or the network cable and tap Prøv igen. The app also reconnects by itself when the internet is back.

The tablet will not install the app

Android has to allow the browser to install apps. If the tablet does not ask by itself, search for Install unknown apps in the tablet's settings and turn it on for the browser.

Windows says WalletPlus and the Windows app do not match

Update the Windows app under Hjælp → Søg efter opdateringer…, and reload WalletPlus with Ctrl+F5.

We have forgotten the password

Tap Glemt adgangskode? on the login page, and we will send a link to your email.
