Tool · local delivery

Drive yourself. Or let someone else drive.

Dinner has to go out tonight. The bouquet has to reach the recipient on Friday. You can drive yourself within your own zones at your own prices. If it is food, you can also let Wolt Drive couriers collect the order from you. The customer never leaves your domain.

The figures are from the Restaurant module. The share of orders that need delivering varies a lot from place to place: from under one in ten to over half. So far, the restaurants have made the deliveries themselves.

Two ways

Same webshop. The difference is who drives.

Model 1 · in service

You drive yourself

You draw your zones by postcode and set a delivery fee and a minimum order for each. The customer is told straight away whether the address is inside and what it costs, instead of discovering it at checkout.

In the Florist module the customer also chooses the delivery day and the recipient, so the bouquet can be ordered today and delivered on the day it needs to arrive.

  • Zones by postcode, not a circle on a map
  • Your own fee and your own minimum per zone
  • Your own delivery time, separate from the pickup time
  • The address is checked before the customer reaches checkout

Status: every delivery so far has been driven this way.

Model 2 · for food · ready, not started

Wolt Drive collects from you

The guest still orders on your domain, pays you, and you keep the customer. Wolt supplies only the courier. That is the difference between using Wolt as transport and sitting on Wolt's platform, where they own the guest and take a third.

The order is passed on when you accept it, and the guest can follow the courier on a map on your site.

  • Your name on the order: Wolt is a subcontractor, not the shop
  • The price per delivery depends on distance, not on your revenue
  • No commission on the food
  • You can use it on the evenings your own driver cannot

How to get started: we provision you with Wolt and connect it to your zones. Say the word when you want it switched on.

On Wolt's platform

Wolt owns the guest, is on the receipt and takes commission on the food

With Wolt Drive

You own the guest, are on the receipt and pay only for the ride

Whoever drives

This comes with delivery.

Address check before payment

If the customer is outside the zone, they are told straight away, not after filling the basket.

Minimum order per zone

The far zone may well require more than the near one.

Separate delivery time

45 minutes for delivery while pickup still says 20.

Tracking page for the customer

One link to follow along with. It sits on your domain, not in somebody else's app.

Delivery can be switched off

If the driver is ill, you switch off delivery for the day without closing the shop.

The delivery fee is yours

We take no percentage of it. It goes into your payout untouched.
